Ian A. Naismith

Co-owner and portfolio manager, Ian A. Naismith is originally from McAllen , Texas . He graduated with honors from the academically renowned Austin College in Sherman, Texas with degrees in Business, Psychology, and Sociology. In 1992, he began his career in money management with American Express Financial Advisors. In 1996, Ian founded and is President of Naismith Capital Strategies, Inc., an early entry into the world of fee based wealth management. Ian’s hobbies include cooking, composing music, and has released numerous recordings of original music. He is also an avid problem solver who enjoys complex mathematics and algorithms. He and his wife, Karen, have a daughter and a son.
