The Income Generation Strategy focuses on identifying attractive dividend and interest opportunities. In addition to income, its secondary objective is capital appreciation. Income producing Exchange Traded Funds and Closed End Funds trading at a discount to net asset value are the primary investment vehicles for this portfolio. In non-retirement accounts, tax advantaged dividends and interest are favored.
Sarasota Capital Strategies has a long, successful track record of identifying favorable investment opportunities in Closed End Funds. We have developed strategies to take advantage of the inherent inefficiencies that CEFs regularly present. In addition, new income-oriented ETFs are being introduced. Our portfolio managers apply rigorous scrutiny to new products to determine the suitability of their use in client portfolios.
We now have available several newer ETF products to generate income that are not directly correlated to the US bond market. These exciting ETFs can aid in portfolio diversification while providing desired income.
