Anthony W. Welch, CFP, ChFC

Co-owner and portfolio manager, Anthony W. Welch is originally from Shenandoah , Iowa . He graduated with honors from the University of South Florida with a degree in Finance. Tony also holds the professional designations of Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Financial Consultant. In 1992, he began his career with American Express Financial Advisors achieving the level of Senior Financial Advisor, at that time the highest level attainable with the company. In 1999, Tony founded and is President of Welch & Associates, Inc., an early entry into the world of fee based wealth management. Tony enjoys a variety of sports and has been a baseball coach in Sarasota County for over 12 years. He and his wife, Leslie, have four children and 3 granddaughters.
